We didn’t get in touch for a long time, but you don’t have to think that we forgot about the blog or all the more about the cartoon. We’ve just provided ourselves with fat for the summer, made a couple of interesting commercial works, and now we continue working on the cartoon. Everything is going according to the plan and now we are at one of the most difficult stages: we are making the final animation, which may not be presented on the blog; that is why the posts will be presented a little more seldom than before.
So, let’s pass to the main thing.Now we want to say a few words about how the fist April video card about Baro and Tagara was made.He work was started according to the scheme, which has been already elaborated and tested on the previous card. We gathered friendly, waited a little for the muse and its friend the inspiration (for some reasons they use to be late), and with their help we wrote the synopsis and a little later the scenario for the cartoon. After that the work moved into high gear.We started at ponce with the shooting sheet, shot by shot the scenario became “alive” in pictures.
But the shooting sheet was not enough for us to continue the work. We had to determine the precise duration of the plans and start at the same time to right the music. That is why we made an animatic of the obtained shooting sheet and only then we could move forward.
As the work on the animatic was being performed, we did not rest. The work on the sketch-ark is at full speed: at this stage the external image of the video was determined, and also its color range ands composition.
nd, of course, the artistic search. It takes place always, at any stage. And we also had to work hard at the image of the cartoon, its style unity till the director was
satisfied by everything.

And this is how the fire at the beginning of the cartoon could be.
After finishing with the animatic and sketches, we could bravely proceed to the animation. Previously we wrote that before starting the work on any plan, we shoot it on the camera. Thus, the whole team receives an unique image about each second of the carton, which males the task much easier and accelerates the process.
As a whole, the cartoon, despite its efforts, did not cause any difficulties neither in the animation nor in the post production.
We also have to say that the musical setting belongs to the Zdob si Zdub team. The guys coped with the task excellently, as always, and deserve the highest praises!
Till the end of the summer you have to see two animated and tendered characters – the turkey cook Ilo and the wife of the Gypsy Zara. And the main thing – at the beginning of September a SURPRISE is waiting for you, one more video card.
